Having had a stepson who was based at COB Speicher (formerly FOB Speicher) while he was serving in Iraq? (and since I asked him at the time "Do you Know whom the base is named after?")
I'd be remiss in not acknowledging the recent announcement that Capt. Speicher's remains were finally found and identified.
